Legacy Center Leadership
Take a stand. Leave your unique legacy.
In LP you are coached to stand outside the ordinary in order to achieve a quantum leap in results, personally, professionally, and in the domain of making an impact on this planet. The intent of this three-month coaching program is to develop skills in leadership, accomplishment, enrollment, and service. There is regular coaching to practice personal accomplishment and empowering others, and you work with a team to complete an extraordinary Legacy project in the community.
The purpose of leadership is to manifest your world vision in a real and tangible way. LP is transforming the quality of life on our planet. You will accomplish this in three areas that will be described in a Letter of Commitment: 1. Enrolling people in their vision and future, 2. Completing personal goals, which cover all areas of your life, and 3. Completing a Team Legacy Service Project that is a contribution to your community.
Leadership is about making a difference. Making a difference comes from a fresh perspective and a loving heart. It means coming from contribution and giving. It means being willing to risk standing alone and having the courage to create possibilities for others. It means loving others in the face of hardship and without expectation of reward. It means leading people outside of their boxes. Without that, very few people can access possibility for themselves, their institutions or their world.
Vision is the framework, context within which to be and act. Vision releases us from the weight of the problems in our life and is the opening for possibility. Vision allows us to replace resignation with possibility. Vision allows us to see a path that will be a distinct departure from our past. A vision is outward focused. A vision is our springboard for the future. A vision articulates what we are committed to, not what we want to get rid of. A stand for a vision is a stand made with no evidence that it can occur and no authority to declare it. When a leader declares a vision, they do not need to know how it will happen and do not need to justify why it is important. Read details.
No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit. -- Helen Keller
